In the past, these gloves were only used by the medical sector. Think, for example, of surgeons. Nowadays you see them in many more sectors such as the food industry, laboratory and as a hygiene tool. That is why they are easy to find everywhere because they are used so much.
Different types of gloves
You have nitrile gloves powder-free in different sizes and colors. These gloves do not contain talc powder. These are less easy to handle but give less rubbish. You also have different thicknesses, so you can choose which gloves best suit your work. You also have different materials: latex, vinyl and nitrile. The advantage of nitrile is that people who are allergic to latex can simply wear it without allergic reactions.
What are nitrile gloves?
Nitrile disposable gloves are not latex gloves and are made of synthetic rubber. Because they are made of rubber, they have a good fit. These gloves feature Micro brushed fingertips to promote grip. They are also easy to put on and are very elastic. These disposable gloves are powder-free and have good sensitivity and grip. Because of these properties, they come close to the latex disposable gloves and are therefore a good alternative for people with an allergy with a latex allergy. Nitrile gloves are also stronger than the latex disposable gloves and therefore also have a longer lifespan. The disposable gloves tear if there is a hole in them, this may sound like a disadvantage, but it is not. Because imagine that you work with food products, then you quickly realize when your gloves are broken. You can immediately replace this, so that you ensure that fewer bacteria are transferred.
Applications of nitrile gloves:
Work with blood
For people with latex allergy
For working with food

What is the difference between vinyl and nitrile disposable gloves?
The nitrile gloves we offer are made of synthetic rubber and are often used as an alternative for someone who is allergic to latex. Furthermore, the nitrile gloves are stronger than latex gloves. This makes the gloves suitable for multiple use. The gloves are resistant to oil, grease and splashes of certain chemicals. Please note that the gloves are not resistant to ketones, oxidizing acids and nitrogen. Vinyl gloves, on the other hand, are made of PVC. Vinyl is less strong material and therefore offers less protection. Like nitrile, vinyl is a good alternative to latex gloves in case of an allergy. In addition, vinyl gloves are resistant to oil, grease and acids and bases. Please note, vinyl gloves cannot withstand solvents and ketones.
